Multimedia Projects in Education: Designing, Producing, and Assessing

Ivers, Karen S. and Ann E. Barron.  Multimedia Projects in Education: Designing, Producing, and Assessing. 2nd Ed.

This  handbook presents proven strategies for incorporating multimedia projects into the curriculum. The authors use the DDD-E model (DECIDE, DESIGN, DEVELOP, EVALUATE) to show how to select and plan multimedia projects.

This book covers many of the concepts we discussed in this course.  Constructivism, multiple Intelligences, and models for design and development of multimedia projects.  Hypermedia, storyboarding, video, animation, and assessment are part of the contents that interests me.  There is even a section on digital autobiographies.  This relates to our group's multimedia unit, "All About Me."
